Drew Blythe Barrymore (born February 22nd 1975) is an American actress. She has received numerous awards which include the Screen Actors Guild Award Award and an Golden Globe. There have been five Emmy Award nominations as well as the BAFTA nomination and five Emmy Award nominations. She is a member of the Barrymore family of actors and the granddaughter of John Barrymore. Barrymore gained fame as a child actress through her role in E.T. the Extra-Terrestrial. The Extra-Terrestrial was the result of a highly publicized early childhood characterized by drug and alcohol abuse, she published her autobiography Little Girl Lost. Then, she appeared in a number of successful films throughout the 1990s, including Poison Ivy Boys on the Side, Mad Love, Batman Forever, Scream and Ever After.
