 Nathan John Feuerstein, born March 30, 1991 is an American artist and rapper. He is known as his initials NF, that can be written as IF. Two EPs were released, I'm FREE (2012) [3and self-titled EP released by Capitol CMG in 2014. Mansion was his first major-label release. The second studio album, Therapy Session (April 22 and 23, 2016) reached the top spot at 12 for the US Billboard 200. The albums have garnered numerous awards, among which include: the Gospel Music Association Dove Award for Rap/Hip Hop Album of the Year (Therapy Session).NF gained mainstream recognition in 2017 with the release of Perception. the album reached the top spot in the United States and was certified platinum. The album's third single, "Let You Down" made it to number 12 on the U.S. Billboard Hot 100 reached number one in the US and was also a top-ten worldwide chart hit. Similar commercial success was also achieved through The Search (2019). Feuerstein stated that rap was for him a form of escape in his early years. He would record songs on a karaoke machine, recording instrumentals on one mic and his raps on another. Feuerstein is his real name, dropped Moments the debut studio album, on the 29th of November 2010. On August 2, 2011 the singer released his debut single "Alone". Brooke Griffith was the songwriter and the producer of the track. Xist Music discovered Feuerstein's work in 2012 and became interested in his music. Feuerstein released his debut extended work, I'm free on May 2nd, 2012. Profitt produced it. The tracklist contained nine songs that included "Alone". The EP also featured an original version of Alone with Sean Simmonds. Xist announced the release of the self-titled extended play, NF, but Feuerstein parted ways with the label following a dispute and the production of NF was delayed. NF included a track, "Only One", featuring Shuree Williams on the label’s compilation album, Move Vol 1 On November 4 in 2013, he debuted "Beautiful Addiction" which was the single. Profitt made a return to the song, along with vocals by Brady Schmitz (vocals) and Danielle Swift (vocals).
