Milana

 Milana Aleksandrovna Vayntrub (American actress and comedian, as well as activist) is a comedian. She was born in the Soviet Union to Jewish parents and began her career as an actor when she was a young girl, shortly after moving to the United States. Her fame was boosted by her appearances on AT&T commercials on television as salesperson Lily Adams from 2013 to 2016 and since 2020. She was a regular host on the Yahoo! Screen science-fiction comedy Other Space (2015). She was also a regular on the NBC drama This Is Us (2016–2017). After being cast in the unaired TV pilot for New Warriors, Vayntrub also plays Squirrel Girl in Marvel Rising. Vayntrub was born in Tashkent, Uzbek Soviet Socialist Republic, USSR, and is Jewish. Her parents, who were two years old, immigrated to America to escape antisemitism. They were settled in West Hollywood. When she was five she started appearing in Mattel Barbie commercials. This was in part due to the financial struggles in her family. Vayntrub briefly attended Beverly Hills High School. She dropped out of her sophomore year and obtained an GED. After that she went on to receive an Associate of Arts Degree in Communication from University of California San Diego. She was a member of the Upright Citizens Brigade, and studied improv comedy.
