Moss was born on the 13th of February, 1977. He is an American football player.
He was a player for the Minnesota Vikings (Oak Raiders), New England Patriots
(New England Patriots), Tennessee Titans (Tennessee Titans), and the San
Francisco 49ers in the National Football League. Along with Jerry Rice, he is
generally regarded as the most outstanding wide receiver to ever play. Moss
holds the NFL single-year touchdown record (23 in 2007), and the first NFL single
season touchdown mark (17 in 1998). He is also as the second highest in the NFL
all-time regular season touchdown list with 156. Moss is famous for his ability
to secure contested catches. The word "mossed" is a term that has
entered the football vocabulary, was widely used due to the fact that he was a
successful. He started his career as a studio announcer for ESPN's Sunday NFL
Countdown and Tuesday Night Countdown shows. Moss was born in Rand, West
Virginia. He attended DuPont High School. It was one of two schools that was
later amalgamated into Riverside High School. There was a great player in
football, basketball, baseball track, as well as other sports. Randy was also a
part of the school’s debate team. On the field of football, Moss led the DuPont
Panthers to two state championships in 1993 and 1992. Moss was an outstanding
wide receiver. He also played free safety and returned punts. In 1994, he was
honoured by the Kennedy Award as the West Virginia Football Player of the Year.
Parade magazine named him to their All-American high school football teams in
1995. In 2009 they named him as one of the 50 greatest high-school football
players of all-time.
