American actor Courtney Thorne Smith was born November 8, 1967. She is best known for her roles in Melrose Place as Alison Parker on Melrose Place, Georgia Thomas on Ally McBeal, Cheryl in According to Jim and her recurring role on Two and a Half Men as Lyndsey McElroy. Thorne Smith was raised in Menlo Park in the south of San Francisco. Walter Smith was her father. Lora Thorne was her mom , as well as a psychotherapist. On the 11th of January 2008, she turned 40 she gave birth her son, Jacob Emerson Fishman.
